Texting and Privacy Terms and Conditions
The Florida Center for Prevention Research (FCPR) serves as program evaluators for a number of grants that are funded at the private, state, and federal level. Many of these programs require that we communicate with participants via email and text messages.
All participants are encouraged to opt-in to receive text messages with important information from FCPR. These messages may include reminders about registration, notifications that incentives (i.e., gift cards) have been sent to your email, and invitations to follow-up surveys. Agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase, nor will it impact your ability to participate in this program. However, not agreeing to receive these messages may result in missing important reminders and notifications about incentives.
It is recommended that when you opt-in to receive the text messages, that you save the phone number as “FSU” so you can identify future messages.
If you choose to agree to text messages, your contact information will be kept private and will not be sold or shared with any other organization. Your telephone number will not be linked to any responses that you provide on surveys. All survey data will be deidentified prior to analysis.
If you have questions about this project or if you have concerns about how your information is being used, please contact Dr. Cindy Wilson, Executive Director, Florida Center for Prevention Research, Florida State University, cbwilson2@fsu.edu
